In case you missed it, America's favorite TV show, "CBS Sunday Morning," profiled the world's most coveted bourbon, Pappy Van Winkle, this past Sunday. Lee Cowan traveled to the Bluegrass to sit down for dinner with the Van Winkle family and "the current keeper of the Van Winkle secret," Julian Van Winkle III. Julian, his son Preston, and triplet daughters told Cowan the story of the family business from the early beginnings to the Beverage Testing rating that changed it all. The "Sunday Morning" profile dropped before the upcoming release of a new book about Pappy, "Pappyland: A Story of Family, Fine Bourbon, and the Things That Last," written by Wright Thompson, who also appears throughout the CBS piece.
