WATCH: Denzel Aberdeen, Malachi Moreno preview Champions Classic showdown

The annual Champions Classic is almost here. Kentucky and Michigan State will open this year’s event, tipping off on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN inside Madison Square Garden. A couple of Wildcats spoke with the media early Monday morning to preview Tom Izzo’s Spartans.
Senior guard Denzel Aberdeen and freshman center Malachi Moreno stepped in front of the microphones to give their thoughts on Michigan State and the team vibes going into the matchup. Both players highlighted MSU’s transition offense attack, getting to play at MSG for the first time, how freshman Jasper Johnson is playing right now, what Aberdeen brings to the table as a point guard, and much more.
