You can watch DJ Wagner in action again tonight on FS1

DJ Wagner went from taking home the McDonald’s All-American Game MVP on Tuesday to drilling a game-winning, stepback three-pointer on Wednesday. And yet, the future Kentucky Wildcat still isn’t done playing high-level basketball this week.
Round two of The Throne National Championship (which is backed by the National Basketball Players’ Association) in Atlanta, GA begins Thursday afternoon with all four quarterfinal games taking place throughout the evening at Morehouse College. Wagner’s squad, the Camden (NJ) Avalanche, will close out the night with a 9:00 p.m. EST tip time on FOX Sports 1 against the Queens (NY) Royals. Queens is led by four-star St. John’s signee Brandon Gardner and four-star sophomore Kiyan Anthony, the son of 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony.
It’s not certain that Wagner will suit up Thursday night, considering he’s played plenty already this week while also traveling from Houston to Atlanta, but with Camden moving on to the next round, it feels like a safe bet he will. Wagner seems to have that “play-at-all-costs” mentality. Hopefully, his fellow Kentucky signee teammate, Aaron Bradshaw, will take the floor as well after sitting out Wednesday’s game.

Additionally, Camden’s four-star junior, 6-foot-6 Billy Richmond, who holds an offer from Kentucky, is also participating in the tournament. He was key in the Avalanche taking down the Wheeler (GA) Wildcats in the first round, showing off his superior athleticism on both ends of the floor.
If Camden were to win Thursday night, they would play again in the semifinals on Friday against the winner of the Explorers (FL) and Longhorns (GA). The championship game is set for Saturday.
