WATCH: FBI agent accidentally shoots man while doing a backflip

When they’re not enforcing the law or taking down the University of Louisville basketball program, the FBI apparently likes to have a good time.
At a nightclub in Denver last night, one off-duty FBI agent got a little bit carried away while dancing, doing a backflip in the center of a crowd that had gathered around him. While airborn, the agent’s gun fell out of his waistband and landed on the ground. When he reached out to pick it up, the gun fired, shooting a man in the leg.

The man was hospitalized, but according to the local Fox News affiliate, KDVR, he has received a “good prognosis” and will be fine.
As for the soon-to-be ex-FBI agent, he has been questioned by Denver police and released to an FBI supervisor. Denver Police’s homicide unit is reportedly handling the investigation, where charges for the agent will be determined by the Denver District Attorney’s Office and announced soon.
