WATCH: Frederick Douglass defeats Madison Central 21-15 in KSR Game of the Week
The KSR Game of the Week was a defensive slugfest, but it was the home team that mustered up enough points to sneak out an important district win.
No. 14 Frederick Douglass came away with a 21-15 win over Madison Central on Friday night in Lexington. Douglass was led by junior running back Dakari Talbert, who racked up 135 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 17 carries, while the Madison Central offense managed just 207 total yards. In the process, head coach Nate McPeek picked up his 100th career coaching win. Douglass has now won four straight after starting the season 0-3.
