Down 14-3 at the break of the KSR Game of the Week, Kentucky football QB commit Matt Ponatoski fueled an impressive second-half comeback as Moeller (OH) took down No. 1 Trinity, 24-21, on Friday in Cincinnati.

After suffering a minor ankle injury just before the intermission, Ponatoski went on to toss the ball into the end zone three times, finishing with 201 yards through the air on 23-28 passing. Ranked No. 99 in Rivals’ 2026 recruiting class, the future Wildcat reaffirmed his commitment to UK afterward. “I’m 100 percent locked in with them and they don’t have anything to worry about because I took my time with my commitment and I’m locked in,” he told KSR. Ponatoski even made the trip to Lexington on Saturday to watch the Wildcats take on Ole Miss.

If you didn’t get to see Ponatoski in action for Moeller earlier this week, don’t worry — the KSR crew once again has you covered. Video intern Sterling Hohman has been in the lab cooking up a must-watch highlight video that you can check out below. Kentucky appears to have landed a good one in the Ohio native.
