Folks, the UK Sports Video team has done it once again…
After a long offseason, the 2025-26 Kentucky men’s basketball team is just about ready for action. Big Blue Madness is a little over three weeks away as Mark Pope prepares for his second season as Kentucky’s head coach. The summer months have been filled with workouts and practices at the Joe Craft Center. We’ve been teased with behind-the-scenes snippets throughout the last few months, but we never got a true look at what’s going on with this group of new-look group of Wildcats — until now, that is.
From the first week of summer practice on June 17 (when sprints had the players literally falling onto the floor), to the off-court activities across the state, this is the best look of the team you’ll get all offseason long. As Otega Oweh says at the end of the video, “it’s gonna be a special year.” Watch all 12 minutes of The Journey below to get yourself in the basketball mood.
