Friday night in Lexington, several of Kentucky Football’s biggest stars teamed up with Charities For Kentucky and title sponsor Bank of Lexington to host a special bowling event with fans before the season kicks off next weekend. The “Bowling With Ballers” event raised money for a variety of charities, including CASA of Lexington and Eastern Kentucky flood relief, while connecting the players with the community in addition to the NIL aspect of the night. It was a win-win-win for the fans who participated, the charities that are supported, and the players.

As for the bowling, you can see how the football players performed on the lanes in the highlight video I made as a fly on the wall at LexLive’s downtown bowling alley. My two biggest takeaways are how much fun the players and fans had at such a unique event that brought them together, and that Barion Brown has that dog in him. Kentucky’s new freshman wide receiver promised a 200+ score and he delivered after beginning his first round with a turkey in the first three frames.
