WATCH: KSR's college interns explain Kentucky MBB's viral TikToks

Whopper, Whopper, Whopper, Whopper! Junior, double, triple, Whopper!
Sound familiar? For some, it might be all you’ve been able to think about over the last couple of weeks. Burger King has admittedly taken some of my money solely because of that catchy tune, but now it’s infiltrated the Kentucky men’s basketball program.
For those out of the loop, TikTok has become the latest social media craze sweeping today’s #youths. I won’t sit here and try to explain what it is because that would require writing a 200-page book about nothing, but it’s basically a place where funny/interesting/entertaining/stupid videos go viral. Over the last couple of days, Kentucky MBB has been trying its own hand at going viral by “deep frying memes” (or that’s how it was explained to me) and creating clips that more resemble someone tripping acid than an actual consumable video.
(We believe it was the Buffalo Bills’ TikTok account that initially sparked this viral sensation, but who truly knows.)

Kentucky MBB’s first TikTok of discussion today came after UK upset Tennessee on the road over the weekend, which was then followed up by another on Thursday in honor of Oscar TshiebDAY. You can check them out here and here. Fair warning, there is a lot going on in these TikToks. It even came up as a topic of conversation on the radio show this morning if you happened to tune in.
Naturally, we decided to talk about them for the website/our YouTube channel, but decided to take a more age-appropriate angle. With that in mind, several of KSR’s talented college interns linked up to try and explain exactly what the hell is going on in these videos. Watch below as KSR’s Piper McCoun, Katelyn Perkins, Grant Grubbs, Brady Byrdwell, and Ian Alvano do their best to break down the latest viral internet craze.
