Tuesday night brought the first look at Mark Pope’s new Kentucky Basketball team under the bright lights of Historic Memorial Coliseum. The Wildcats hosted their annual Pro Day in front of NBA scouts and a national audience on SEC Network+, with Dick Gabriel and Jack Givens on the call for everyone at home. The show was a combination of drills, scrimmages, and plenty of buzz around Pope’s new group in Lexington.
KSR was there for it all as Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, Zack Geoghegan, and Jacob Polacheck took in the action and soaked up the atmosphere. From Trent Noah’s stroke to Jaland Lowe’s leadership and a few surprises, there was plenty to take in before we see them again at Big Blue Madness and the Blue-White Game in the coming weeks.
