WATCH: KSR's Rapid Reaction to Kentucky's 75-59 victory over Morehead State

Kentucky women’s basketball is 1-0 to start the year following a 75-59 win over the Morehead State Eagles. It was a slow start for Kentucky on both ends of the floor, but regardless, the Cats got it done.
Jordan Obi had a huge debut, recording 15 points and 15 rebounds in her first game as a Wildcat. Clara Strack duplicated that stat line, adding three blocks and three steals to it. The 2024-25 SEC Defensive Player of the Year is certainly off to a good start on that end of the floor.
On top of that, Tonie Morgan finished with 16 points and four assists on the night, and Amelia Hassett had a fairly solid outing with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Of course, Obi was the main story of the night. After missing all of last season, it was great to see her back in action and performing really, really well.
