WATCH: Mark Pope talks Louisville pregame, Michigan State loss, injuries, and more

Kentucky men’s basketball has a game on Friday night, but the conversations happening during Thursday’s press conference focused on nearly everything but that.
Pope fielded questions from the local media for roughly 25 minutes, talking about everything from what happened ahead of the Louisville game over a week ago to what went wrong a couple of days ago against Michigan State. He had some injury updates on the likes of Jaland Lowe and Mo Dioubate, while also defending the early-season play of Brandon Garrison. There was one question about Friday’s opponent, Loyola (MD), mixed in there, but after two ugly losses against ranked teams to start the season, a chunk of the discussion centered around the team’s chemistry and locker room vibes.
