WATCH: Mark Stoops Following First Gator Bowl Practice

Friday, Dec. 15 served as a significant day for the Kentucky football program. Fourteen Wildcats went through commencement ceremonies before Kentucky kicked off Clemson prep with their first Gator Bowl practice.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Mark Stoops and his coaching staff. They’ve been on the road recruiting and hosting official visitors on Kentucky’s campus. Managing the college football waiver wire is a time-consuming process. That’s why today the players took some responsibilities off of their coaches’ hands.
“Its been a busy time as you can imagine. We had some bowl practices last week that we were really working good against good. Coaches went out and finished up some recruiting and got back at it today with our first practices on Clemson,” Stoops said. “So much like we’ve done in the past, we’ll have basically two weeks to prepare here.”
