Kentucky is still licking its wounds from a loss to South Carolina. There is no time to let that losing feeling linger. The Wildcats gotta get back on the road and travel to the unfamiliar confines of Sanford Stadium.

Kentucky last won at Georgia in 2009. The Bulldogs won 26 straight night games between the hedges until last Saturday’s loss to Alabama.

“It’s always a very big challenge, as we all know. Georgia coming off a loss, I’m sure they’ll be in a bad mood, like our players are,” said Stoops. “We’re looking forward to get back out there today and trying to improve.”

The Wildcats need to take a big step forward. Kentucky played it close with Georgia a year ago, falling 13-12 at Kroger Field, but Kirby Smart has never lost to Mark Stoops. Georgia is a 20.5-point favorite on BetMGM, with a total of 48.5.

“We need to execute in critical moments and just become a better football team,” said Stoops. “It’s going to be a real challenge.”
