WATCH: Mark Stoops previews South Carolina, talks Cutter Boley as QB1

After a week off to rest and recover, it’s back to work for the Kentucky football Wildcats. Up next? The South Carolina Gamecocks, a team trending in the wrong direction at the right time for the ‘Cats.
Head coach Mark Stoops met with reporters Monday to preview what lies ahead. Stoops discussed South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers and the threats he’ll pose to the Kentucky defense, as well as the Gamecocks’ underrated special teams unit and Dylan Stewart‘s impact as a premier defensive end. Stoops also explained why redshirt freshman quarterback Cutter Boley was given the nod as QB1, adding that Zach Calzada continues to recover from his shoulder injury suffered in Week 2 against Ole Miss.
