Kentucky baseball lived to see another day with Saturday’s 7-3 win over the USC Upstate Spartans.

After dropping Friday’s opener in the Clemson Regional to West Virginia, the Wildcats fought off elimination from the NCAA Tournament by picking up a convincing win the next time out. But in order to keep the season alive, Kentucky still has to win three straight games over the next two days. On Sunday at noon ET, the Bat Cats will face the loser of Saturday night’s showdown between WVU-Clemson.

But before we look too far ahead, we’re going to enjoy Saturday’s victory a bit longer. After the game wrapped up at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, head coach Nick Mingione was joined by a handful of Wildcats for postgame interviews. On3’s Daniel Hager was on the scene to get their thoughts on the win and what is needed to win on Sunday.

You can hear everything Mingione and Co. had to say below. We also have a Rapid Reaction for your viewing/listening pleasure as Daniel and Derek Terry of Bat Cats Central break down what went right for the ‘Cats against the Spartans.
