WATCH: No. 19 LCA routs Danville 49-18 in KSR Game of the Week

No. 19 Lexington Christian Academy continues to establish itself as the team to beat in Class 2A after Friday’s monster win over Danville in the KSR Game of the Week.
After a tightly contested opening quarter on Friday in Lexington, the Eagles cruised the rest of the way to a significant 49-18 district victory over the Admirals. It marked the fourth straight win for LCA, which moved to 3-0 in the district, while Danville dropped its first game since mid-September. The Eagles locked up the top seed in Class 2A in the process.
Nash Whelan, LCA’s sophomore dual-threat quarterback, terrorized the Admirals as a triple-threat. He passed for 235 yards and four touchdowns, rushed for 149 yards and a score, and came up with a defensive interception. Senior Tyler King had eight catches for an eye-popping 185 yards, three touchdowns, and also added a defensive interception for the Eagles.
