WATCH: Offseason interviews with Otega Oweh and Brandon Garrison
Nearly all of the 2025-26 Kentucky men’s basketball team has made it to Lexington for offseason workouts. As we make our way through the dog days of summer, we’ll be chatting with as many Wildcats as possible. On Tuesday, we had the chance to catch up with two important returning pieces from Mark Pope‘s first season as head coach.
Senior guard Otega Oweh and junior center Brandon Garrison sat down with reporters to talk about what they’ve been up to since the season came to an end, what they plan to improve upon this offseason, what’s in store for 2025-26, and much more. On the non-basketball front, Oweh also discussed his decision to cut his hair, while Garrison talked about how having a young son has changed his perspective on approaching the game of basketball.
