WATCH: Otega Oweh could be National Player of the Year on a Final Four team

We already know Otega Oweh can be All-SEC good as the leading scorer of a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but can he be national championship good? Better yet, can he pick up where he left off as a potential All-American and National Player of the Year candidate while still leading the Wildcats to banner No. 9?
That’s what the KSR crew is here to help explain, Steven Peake putting together yet another excellent player breakdown video in the series entering the 2025-26 season — this time talking about Mr. OO himself.

“He’s growing as a defensive player — I think he has a chance to be the top defensive player in the country, the most versatile,” Pope said. “… He’s spending a ton of time growing in his decision-making and as a playmaker,” he said. “I think he actually has a chance to become an elite-level playmaker — and, of course, he spends that time.”
