WATCH: Scott County shocks No. 11 Cooper 55-34 in KSR Game of the Week

Second round action of the 2025 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals brought a handful of surprises all across the state — and that includes the KSR Game of the Week.
The unranked Scott County Cardinals went into Union, KY, and took down the No. 11 Cooper Jaguars on Friday night, winning 55-34.
Scott County’s running backs ran all over the Cooper defense. Junior Timmy Emongo racked up 124 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while junior Skyler Way added another 117 rushing yards. Sophomore quarterback Charlie Ellison was efficient and effective, completing nine of his 10 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions. The Cardinals allowed just 50 rushing yards en route to the massive upset victory, setting up a Class 5A quarterfinal matchup with No. 16 Woodford County next Friday.
