[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Samford Athletics [/caption] Former Kentucky National Champion Scott Padgett did not mince words following an on-court altercation with a referee. In the waning minutes of a tight game between Padgett's Samford Bulldogs and East Tennessee State, Padgett pleaded for a call during a timeout.  The official responded with a bold move.  You can see it in right corner of the video: https://twitter.com/mid_madness/status/1081041074666254336?s=21 Unfortunately, Samford could not overcome the four-point deficit to win.  Fortunately, Padgett was not afraid to share his thoughts about the incident. "It's not a real world out there because a guy like that stepping to me is not realistic," Padgett said.  "If we’re out on the street, he’s running the other way just if he sees me walking by. This is isn't a threat. I'm 6'9" 280; not a lot of people step at me." https://twitter.com/wjhl_kane/status/1081039594420953088?s=21 Consider me one person who would not ever mess with a pissed off Padgett. [mobile_ad]
