Watch the summer Q&A with Collin Chandler and Trent Noah

Mark Pope has high expectations for Kentucky’s two second-year players, Collin Chandler and Trent Noah. Last month, Pope predicted a massive sophomore jump ahead for Chandler, and in that same conversation, admitted he couldn’t love Trent Noah more than he already does as Noah prepares for his sophomore leap toward legend status.
On Monday, the two rising sophomores held their own press conference in Lexington to speak for themselves at Day 1 of summer practice. Chandler and Noah talked for nearly half an hour, answering questions about Kentucky Basketball‘s summer workouts and lots more. The “lots more” includes:
- Where they stand entering their second summer on campus
- Getting to know their new teammates
- What they learned in Year 1 in Mark Pope’s system
- Guarding Otega Oweh in practice
- Providing veteran leadership
- In Chandler’s case, getting married
