The 2016-17 Cats are warming up on the Rupp Arena floor for the first time this year with an hour to go before the Blue-White game. DJ Warren Peace is here spinning the hottest tunes of today and the video board is as lovely as she was last week. I can't stop staring at it.
A couple of
pre-scrimmage notes from press row:
-- Bam Adebayo was all alone on one end of the floor when I walked in at about 5:30. He was really working hard with one of the managers.
-- It's awesome seeing fans here who can't normally make it to Rupp. So much excitement. It's going to be a good crowd.
-- Derek Willis' shirt is soaking wet from his shoot-around. How has he already lost so much sweat? Long night ahead.
-- Did I mention the video board is beautiful?
-- It
looks like Isaac Humphries will go. He's warming up with the team. (Disregard that.)
-- Tai Wynyard is on the floor in uniform but not doing much. His status is TBD.
