We're number 30!....and 37!

And this guy is pumped. Fresh off a near-upset in a week where Coach Brooks said that his team deserved more love in the rankings, the UK team came in with 6 votes in the AP Poll (37th overall) and 40 points in the USA Today Coaches Poll (30th).  The Cats received the same number of votes in the AP Poll and picked up 12 in the coaches poll from last week.  Also, in Coach Brooks' teleconference on Sunday, he addressed a few of the injuries suffered against the Blue Raiders.  Brooks said that David Jones, Stuart Hines and Jorge Gonzalez were going to miss a few days of practice, but that they would be fine.  He also said that Micah Johnson, Ricky Lumpkin and Randall Cobb are all out indefinitely due to high ankle sprains.  With a bye week and then Western Kentucky coming to town, there shouldn't be much of a problem giving the big three injuries enough rest and rehab to get ready for the SEC slate.
