What Are The Odds For Kentucky Now?

To kick the college basketball season off, Kentucky found itself as the favorite to win the NCAA Championship, according to vegasinsider.com with the odds of 5/1. The team who was once anticipated to make history by going undefeated, now has a record of 21-6 after proving to the sports world that they are in fact human. That said, with only four games left on the Cats' regular season schedule, here are the updated championship odds from vegasinsider.com:

Odds: 15/1   Kentucky is certainly with good company where they stand in the odds. But, this is Kentucky and eighth simply isn't good enough for many fans. The Cats found themselves slipping in the odds due to their play to begin the season.  They lost to the first three ranked opponents they faced. The two losses to Arkansas and LSU on the road surely didn't help Kentucky's championship odds either. But as of late, the team's only loss came at the hands of college basketball's top ranked team, the Florida Gators. The conclusion of the season could paint a much better picture of how good this team is, and in the hopes of Kentucky winning out, the Vegas odds will surely increase in the BBN's favor. I still think it's safe to put Kentucky right at the top with Florida and Kansas, but people put their money on these teams for a reason, right?
