This week the eyes of the college football world turn to Nashville for SEC Media Days. It’s the first time the Music City has hosted the preseason event that kicks off Talking Season. It’s also the first time Kentucky Sports Radio has ever sent more than two people to the media convention.

We will have all hands on deck, thanks to our friends at Kroger. Expect to see content from Freddie Maggard, Adam Luckett, Nick Roush, Steven Peake and for the first time, Drew Franklin. What exactly will we be doing this week in Nashville? Let me break down exactly when and where you can find the KSR crew at SEC Media Days.

SEC Media Days Schedule

The SEC Network is essentially live around the clock in Nashville, beginning this morning at 8 am with SEC This Morning. This year they’re adding even more programming to the 47-hour schedule with a primetime edition of SEC Nation on Broadway. The show begins Tuesday evening at 7 pm EST with guest appearances from Nate Bargatze, Josh Heupel, Clark Lea and Kirby Smart. A country music concert from Midland will follow at 8 pm EST.

There’s also new programming Monday and Wednesday night following The Paul Finebaum Show at 7 pm EST. Them Dawgs will highlight Georgia’s back-to-back National Titles on Monday night, with a documentary on former SEC commissioner Roy Kramer airing Wednesday night. Exclusive SEC Media Days Content on KSR+

Want to know if a lamp is tripping reporters? Is Adam Luckett partying with his pal Nick Saban on Broadway? How is Freddie getting around “the house hotel”? We’ll be sharing all of the fun nonsense from behind the scenes that we can’t really share elsewhere with our friends over on KSBoard, the KSR+ message board.

Live Shows and Interviews on the KSR YouTube Channel

Freddie Maggard is previewing all 14 SEC teams during our time in Nashville. We’ll also share the most exciting moments from the four-day event, but the real fun is happening on the KSR YouTube Page.

All week I’ll be wandering around Radio Row at SEC Media Days, catching up with all of your favorite talking heads from around the Southeastern Conference. Cole Cubelic, SEC Mike, and all of our pals at On3, like Andy Staples and JD PicKell, will be chatting with KSR about the Cats and the upcoming 2023 SEC football season.

In addition to interviews, we’ll have live shows Monday-Wednesday evening that will kickoff between 5-8 pm EST. If I had specific times, I’d share them, but things get a little crazy at SEC Media Days, especially when Mark Stoops is the last to speak Wednesday afternoon. Subscribe to the KSR YouTube Channel right now and you’ll receive a notification every time we go live. Can’t watch, but want to listen? Audio will be available on the KSR Football Podcast and 11 Personnel podcast feeds, you’ll have to just wait a little longer.

KSR is doing it big for this year’s edition of SEC Media Days, unlike anything we’ve done before. Join us for what should be a wildly entertaining ride.
