What Will Happen With Louisville and Perrin Johnson?

by:Matt Jones10/27/10
werwe Lots of folks (including this one) were disappointed to find out that Wayne Turner, Perry Stevenson and Mark Krebs would not be able to play last night due to a phone call from a local reporter inquiring whether the game would violate NCAA rules. The NCAA said that it did and the players were not allowed to take the court. But apparently another program in the state didnt get the memo. The Cards used former player Perrin Johnson in their Red-White game earlier in the week, thus potentially putting the rule into play. The NCAA told UK that if the older guys played then there could be a problem with UK's exhibition games next week. Now that Louisville has already violated the rule, will it make any difference? By the way, I think the rule is stupid and Perrin Johnson is a good guy who was great on television with me last year. But a rule is a rule...what will happen.
