Where Kentucky targets stand in On3's updated 2025 player rankings

With only one more scholarship spot left to use for Mark Pope’s debut season at Kentucky, he and his staff have slowly begun to focus on the high school ranks. In particular, the 2025 class consisting of rising seniors has started to hear more and more from the new Wildcat coaches.
Earlier this week, our good friends over at On3 updated the 2025 Top 150 player rankings. This is the seventh update overall to the 2025 cycle and the fourth update with a full Top 150 list. This update reflects everything the On3 recruiting team has watched since the last update in April — which includes the AAU circuit and various showcase events across the country.

Where did Kentucky’s top targets land in the latest update? For starters, by our count, 25 of the Top 150 have received some level of interest from the Wildcats, including five of the Top 10 and the top overall prospect. Of course, Will Riley — considered a top-tier target UK who officially visited campus earlier this week — was also among the mix of five-stars. Additionally, there is a trio of Bluegrass natives who made the list, two of them among the Top 20.
These are the rising high school seniors that the Big Blue Nation should familiarize themselves with moving forward. Some will ultimately commit elsewhere and new names will surely surface over the coming months, but this is a good base of who Kentucky is keeping close tabs on as we head into the summer.
