The NBA Draft Lottery is tomorrow, so Jonathan Givony just dropped a new mock draft with the latest on what he’s hearing. Because it’s on ESPN Insider and I’m a nice person, I’ll share what he said about Kentucky’s draft prospects. Right now, he only has PJ Washington going in the lottery:

  • 12. Charlotte: PJ Washington
  • 16. Orlando: Tyler Herro
  • 22. Boston: Keldon Johnson

“No matter what happens in free agency, the Hornets could use frontcourt help,” Givony writes. “Washington has the length to defend multiple positions on the interior, he can stretch the floor from the perimeter, and he brings plenty of long-term upside. His toughness and versatility will fit well next to Miles Bridges.”

Givony notes that Tyler Herro could be the solution to Orlando’s backcourt woes and although Keldon Johnson’s stock has dropped due to his struggles to create offense off the dribble, the Celtics could be a perfect fit. It’ll be interesting to see how the NBA Draft Combine, which also starts tomorrow, impacts their stock.
