Wide Receiver Dallas Dickerson Commits to Kentucky

Kentucky has added a burner to the Wildcats’ wide receiver room. Dallas Dickerson has committed to Kentucky, spurning Oklahoma and Georgia Tech to wear blue and white in the SEC.
Dickerson was a highly sought-after prospect who had nearly 30 scholarship offers. Indiana was also in the mix. Oklahoma appeared to have a late lead in his recruitment, when Kentucky appeared to make a power play. Florida tried to get him to Gainesville for an official visit. He canceled it to move his trip to Lexington up a week. That’s when it appears the Wildcats sealed the deal.
New wide receivers coach L’Damian Washington took the lead in Dickerson’s recruitment. The new guy on campus has already made a big impact on the trail. It’s clear his pitch resonated with Dickerson.
“Coach Washington thinks I could be one of the best receivers to ever go through Kentucky,” Dickerson told KSR+ ahead of his announcement. “He believes in me a lot and my potential under their developmental program.”

A Georgia native from Bogart, just outside of Athens, Dickerson is a high three-star prospect. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete is the No. 461 overall prospect and 71st-ranked wide receiver, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.
You can’t coach speed, and Dickerson has plenty of it. He’s been clocked at 4.42 in the 40-yard dash and 10.36 in the 100 meters. He ran flat run by opponents, or start at zero and accelerate by would-be tacklers. A big-play maker, his explosiveness helped pave the way for North Oconee to cap off an undefeated season with the school’s first 4A State Title.
Kentucky Football 2026 Recruiting Class
The addition of Dickerson gives Kentucky 10 players in the 2026 recruiting class. He’s the third wide receiver L’Damian Washington has successfully recruited to Lexington, and the second from the state of Georgia.
