Will A.J Reed Get The Call Soon?

[caption id="attachment_183967" align="aligncenter" width="600"]MiLB.com MiLB.com[/caption] A.J Reed has been mashing in the minor leagues since he was drafted in 2014. The former Cat is currently in Triple-A Fresno of the Houston Astros. Despite his average dropping early in the season, A.J is poised to make his major league debut soon. The Astros' infield is in shambles early in the season and they need a surge at the plate. Third baseman Tyler White has three hits in his last 40 at-bats and Evan Gattis was just demoted because he is terrible at catcher. Reed currently leads Fresno in RBIs (20) and home runs (6) through 25 games. The Astros have fallen from World Series contender to bottom-feeder with their horrible 11-19 start to 2016. At a time like this, we could see them reach down for Reed or fellow first baseman Jon Singleton. Time will tell, but keep an eye on the roster moves in the next week to see if the greatest player in UK Baseball history gets the call. @TreyHuntsmanKSR
