Evan Daniels of Scout.com is reporting that self-proclaimed #1 target of UK's 2010 class, #
1 ranked shooting guard Will Barton, has committed to Memphis. What makes this such a surprising story is that it was widely reported that Barton had given his verbal to UK (Kentucky Ink) or that it was only a matter of time until it was official (The Man, The Myth, The Maggard). Unfortunately, it appears the Barton ship has sailed to Memphis and he becomes the first player to pick Pastner over Calipari in what could be a very competitive recruiting rivalry in the coming years.
