Will Levis was a special guest on SEC This Morning over on the SEC Network earlier today. The Governor’s Cup MVP joined the show during his walk home from class, even showing TV viewers a glimpse of his apartment as he approached the front door during the live Facetime interview. Levis’ ability to walk and talk was impressive, but no surprise given all of the ground he covered with his legs in Cardinal Stadium over the weekend.

As for the meat of the interview, Levis discussed with hosts Peter Burns and Chris Doering his upcoming decision to stay or go. Though brief, Levis told the show he hasn’t put much thought into his football future past this season.

I haven’t really thought much about that at all,” he replied to Burns’ question about returning to Kentucky. ‘”I need to talk to some people, but I’ll make an official decision on that pretty soon.”

Levis also confirmed he has two years of eligibility remaining at Kentucky. From there, he spoke about his past five months on Kentucky’s campus.

Asked what he’s most proud of in that span, Levis replied, “I think, just my development as a quarterback this being my true first year being a starting quarterback in college. It allowed me to grow so much and it’s all thanks to my teammates and coaches for helping me develop and making the plays and doing all of the behind-the-scenes stuff.

“With team success comes individual recognition and I think all of my success has to do with how this team has come together and played so well this year.”

Hear from Levis on his Monday commute at the two-and-a-half-hour mark of today’s SEC This Morning.
