With DeAndre Liggins signed in New Orleans, "It feels like a family that reunited."

On Tuesday night, the New Orleans Pelicans signed DeAndre Liggins to a ten-day contract, bringing their BBNBA total to five. Liggins joins DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo, and Darius Miller as former Wildcats on the team, just the second time in NBA history one franchise had five players from the same college on the active roster. The first time? The 1949-50 NBA season, where five Kentucky players played for Indianapolis and each registered points. https://twitter.com/coreyp08/status/951589833830555648 After being signed by the Pelicans, Liggins told New Orleans reporter William Guillory that playing with his 'brothers' in the NBA feels like a "family that reunited." "It feels like you're playing with your brothers," Liggins said. "I've been knowing them since years ago. We're all older now, we talk about some of the old stories at Kentucky. It feels like a family that reunited." New Orleans head coach Alvin Gentry told reporters an all-Kentucky lineup is possible in the coming days, something Liggins would be excited to see. "That would be crazy," Liggins said. "That's something that a lot of people would be talking about. It's a good chance it might happen, depending on matchups. The official Pelicans account tweeted an interview with Liggins talking about playing with his former Kentucky roommate and how excited he is to be with the organization. #LaFamilia
