Wrapping up the NFL season for Cats players

John Connor (Jets) Season: 8 carries, 44 yards, 1 TD, 2 rec, 9 yards Outlook: The rookie made a big impact on head coach Rex Ryan and got his first carries of the season today against the Bills.  He responded by scoring his first career touchdown.  He was a consistent force at the fullback spot and on special teams and the future looks bright for Connor. Jeremy Jarmon (Redskins) Season: 1 tackle, 0.5 sacks Outlook: After rehabbing from knee surgery, Jarmon only participated in 5 Redskins games this year.  We'll see if 2011 is a better year for the now healthy Jarmon. Micah Johnson (Dolphins and Chiefs) Season: 1 tackle Outlook: Johnson has had a rough go in the pros so far, only making a Week 1 tackle for the Dolphins.  He was picked up for practice squad duty by the Chiefs. Steve Johnson (Bills) Season: 77 rec., 1001 yards, 10 TD Outlook: What a breakout year for Johnson.  He just broke the 1,000 yard mark today and has cemented himself as a #1 receiver in this league.  Whether or not he will see any team success in Buffalo is another question, but Johnson is looking at a long career after this season's play. Trevard Lindley (Eagles) Season: 17 tackles, 1 interception Outlook: Lindley saw action in 11 games this season, and got his first career interception.  And while he hasn't found his way into the starting lineup consistently, this may have been a good starting point for the former star CB. Tim Masthay (Packers) Season: 63 punts, 43.9 average Outlook: Masthay was the season long starter for the playoff bound Packers, ranking 15thin the NFL in punting average.  With field position such a factor in the playoffs, look for Masthay to become an important player for Green Bay next week. Corey Peters (Falcons) Season: 30 tackles Outlook: Peters started 15 games for the Falcons, and looks as if he may have found a solid spot in Atlanta.  Another guy to look for in the playoffs, although Atlanta won't play for 2 weeks. Myron Pryor (Patriots) Season: 11 tackles, 0.5 sacks Outlook: Pryor had become a consistent player for New England, but injured his back in early November and did not play the last 7 weeks of the season.  We'll see if Pryor's absence has an impact on his future in New England, but before he got hurt, some good things were being said about Pryor. Jacob Tamme (Colts) Season: 67 rec, 631 yards, 4 TD Outlook: Tamme benefited from some Colts injuries, but he took full advantage of his opportunity in Indy, becoming a go-to guy for Peyton Manning.  And whether or not Tamme stays on in Indy when Dallas Clark returns, he has certainly made an impact this season. Garry Williams (Panthers) Season: 1 tackle, 1 fumble recovery Outlook: Williams started the last 11 games for the Panthers, but did not make much impact.  The Panthers were fairly helpless on defense, and maybe with a little help, Williams will see a better 2011. Wesley Woodyard (Broncos) Season: 37 tackles Outlook: Woodyard started 3 games for the Broncos and really began playing well at the end of the season.  Look for 2011 to potentially be a breakout year for Woodyard, and hopefully the Broncos will be better to garner more attention for the team.
