The dice are still hot for the University of Kentucky football team. The Wildcats just picked up a commitment from Paul Rodriguez, a 3-star offensive tackle from Mason, Ohio. The 2021 commit announced the news via Instagram Wednesday night.

Committed…??

According to Rodriguez’s 24/7Sports composite profile, he checks in at 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds. The recruiting website also lists him as the No. 62 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 27 player from Ohio. He also held offers from Purdue, Maryland, Iowa State and Rutgers.

Rodriguez is Kentucky’s second commitment for the 2021 class. The Cats landed 3-star linebacker Devon Williams, another Ohio product, in late January. Check out KSR’s film-room review of Williams by clicking here.

Kentucky was the first SEC team to extend a scholarship offer to both Rodriguez and Williams.

And who took the lead during Rodriguez’s recruitment, you may wonder? Not surprisingly, the Ohio native was heavily recruited by Kentucky’s lead recruiter and associate head coach, Vince Marrow.

Just about an hour before Rodriguez made his announcement, Coach Marrow himself told the BBN to get their dice ready.

The Big Dog always knows.

Welcome to the BBN, Paul Rodriguez!
