YAHTZEE! Vito Tisdale Commits to Kentucky at the All-American Bowl

@vitotisdale7
Vito Tisdale will be a Kentucky Wildcat.
Ranked as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports and ESPN, the Bowling Green defensive back picked Kentucky over Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M in a nationally-televised announcement during the All-American Bowl.
Recruited by Vince Marrow, Tisdale first received an offer from the University of Kentucky following his freshman season with the Bowling Green Purples. Ahead of his junior year Oklahoma, Alabama and LSU made serious moves to persuade Tisdale to leave the Commonwealth. Ultimately, the relationships established with Marrow and Mark Stoops convinced the former Louisville fan to join the Big Blue Nation.
While keeping his recruitment quiet, Tisdale made regular trips to Lexington. He capped it all off with an official visit in December where he posed with his future head coach.

Ranked as the No. 19 safety in the 2020 class by 247 Sports, in 2019 Tisdale racked up 84 tackles and four interceptions for the Purples. In his junior year highlight reel you’ll also see his athleticism on full display as a running back and returner for the Purples.
The addition of Tisdale gives Kentucky’s 2020 class 21 players (including transfer Joey Gatewood) and five defensive backs, joining Joel Williams, Rickey Hyatt Jr., Dru Phillips and Carrington Valentine in Steve Clinkscale’s meeting room. Kentucky’s 2020 class also features five of the Commonwealth’s top ten players.
