Yet another elite player wants to hear from Calipari

by:Corey Nichols05/06/12
Karl Towns Jr. isn't the only high school freshman already enticed by the idea of playing for Kentucky. Los Angeles resident, and standout point guard, Tyler Dorsey has a number of elite schools already after him.  UCLA, Kansas, and North Carolina have been involved already, alongside less tradition-rich programs like Illinois and Arizona.  Even Louisville is trying (probably in vain) to get in on the action. Tyler's father has admitted that Arizona has shown the most interest so far, who reportedly made an offer in eighth grade.  Remember when we thought that was a good idea, too?  Seems like forever ago. But regardless of who has shown the most interest so far, Dorsey has already made it clear that the ball is in Cal's court for his recruitment. "I'm just waiting for Kentucky to come in." If you've got some free time, read the full report on Zagsblog, and check out this Cat-friendly tweet:     Cal doesn't like to extend offers early, but instead uses them sparingly.  If Dorsey continues to impress, maybe he'll get his wish after all.
