2024 Grayson (Ga.) athlete JoJo Stone announced his commitment to LSU after an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge on in June helped seal the deal. Stone became commitment No. 3 for the Tigers in 2024.

The 5-11, 180-pound athlete held offers from Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas and numerous others.

Stone is ready for big things as a junior. He’s looking to show what he can do on both sides of the ball. LSU is recruiting him at wide receiver.

“I feel like this year would be a big year for me as far as showing everybody what I can do,” JoJo Stone said last month. “I feel like this year would be a wake-up call for colleges… this year, you’ll be able to see what I can do at outside receiver, what I can do at corner, and what I can do at safety.”

Stone was a top performer at the Atlanta Pylon 7-on-7 Tournament this spring. JoJo Stone can truly do it all on the field.

“Stone scored in multiple ways on Sunday. He caused a stir with a nice stop and stutter that sent a defender tripping in the opposite direction,” On3’s Jeremy Johnson wrote. “Stone lined up everywhere on offense. He played running back, slot receiver and outside receiver. That versatility has been one of the traits that have got college coaches giddy about the possibilities in their offenses.”

JoJo Stone is one of the nation’s best athletes

Stone’s the No. 183 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s the No. 14 overall athlete in the nation and No. 30 prospect in Georgia.

Stone has an On3 NIL Valuation of $22K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college-level athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation isn’t a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a specific moment in time.

JoJo Stone is joined in the 2024 class by Shadow Creek (Tex.) defensive back Maurice Williams II. Williams committed in June over offers from Arkansas, Michigan, Ole Miss and others.
