LSU-Arkansas set for early kickoff in Tiger Stadium on Nov. 15

LSU received its start time and television designation for Nov. 15 against Arkansas and it will take an adjustment for Tiger fans. LSU vs. Arkansas is set for 11:45 p.m. CT and will be televised on SEC Network.
This weekend, LSU is set to face Alabama in Tuscaloosa at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC, a marquee game that highlights two of the top programs traditionally. Alabama is ranked as the No. 4 team in the nation and is undefeated in SEC play, while the Tigers come in limping after firing their head coach and offensive coordinator during the bye week.
Can LSU close the season strong? These next two weeks will decide that.

Shea Dixon breaks down LSU vs. Arkansas
LSU’s offense has to keep pace with Bobby Petrino: Arkansas fired head coach Sam Pittman, becoming the first domino to drop in a regular season that has now seen four SEC schools part ways with the program’s head coach. Arkansas vs. LSU will be a matchup of interim head coaches, and Petrino has a head start on Wilson. Petrino has been calling plays as the interim head coach since late-September, and the Razorbacks have proven one thing: the offense can score points. Arkansas has scored 30-plus points in 8 of 9 games. The lone game the Razorbacks fell short resulted in 24 points. LSU has only scored more than 24 points once, which came thanks to a garbage time touchdown in a 49-25 loss to Texas A&M. The loss to the Aggies resulted in LSU firing Kelly. Arkansas may only have two wins in nine games, but it’s a bad matchup for an LSU team that struggles to put points on the board.
Arkansas (2-7 overall): ESPN FPI Ranking … No. 41 (November 15)
The Razorbacks are a much tougher test than the program’s 2-7 record indicates, and the ESPN FPI ranking set at No. 41 overall makes Arkansas the highest-ranked two-win team in college football. Arkansas fired head coach Sam Pittman before SEC jobs like Florida and LSU came open, and interim head coach Bobby Petrino has the Razorbacks rolling on offense. Fortunately for LSU, this game is in Death Valley. Still, the Tigers will need to score on offense given three of the past four SEC games for Arkansas saw the Razorbacks score more than 30 points and lose by a field goal. Arkansas is on bye week next week before the Razorbacks travel to Death Valley to face LSU on Saturday, Nov. 15.
