LSU Football player turns himself in on accessory charge

LSU freshman running back, JT Lindsey, turned him self in to university police on Friday afternoon after an arrest warrant was issued for him on a charge of accessory after the fact, his attorney said.
WAFB broke the news first and gave details about the situation at hand. The news station also provided video of Lindsey from today.
“The player, JT Lindsey of Alexandria, is accused of allowing two men wanted for murder to stay at his dorm room on the LSU campus earlier this year.
His defense lawyer, Kris Perret, said even though Lindsey is now facing a criminal charge, Lindsey was unaware that those individuals were wanted for murder and was at football camp as this all played out.
Perret said there are no allegations that his client had any involvement in the underlying crimes.
The suspects, 17-year-old Shemell Jacobs and 18-year-old Keldrick Jordan, were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in the Riverbend Building of the Nicholson Gateway dorms on Monday, August 4, 2025.”
