Bryce: This next week is going to be one of the most pivotal weeks in LSU football history.

Brune: Yes, and I don’t think that is hyperbole because coming off of where they’ve been since the national title game, the firing of Ed Ogeron, the hiring of Brian Kelly, the firing of Brian Kelly, the money that was pumped into firing Brian Kelly, the money that was pumped into the team this year, the money that will be pumped into whoever the next head coach is, and the offer that has been made to Lane Kiffin in terms of monetary value, it is an all-in situation here. If you do not win this hand of poker, you’re out, and I understand they’ll hire somebody and they will have success most likely because it’s LSU. You can walk in and win nine games even if you don’t show up half the time, but still, if you’re gonna be a national title contender as soon as like next year, two years from now, like it’s Lane Kiffin.

Like we can go down the list of other candidates. I don’t, but Lane Kiffin is the one that will immediately not only revitalize this this fan base, but revitalize this program, revitalize the offense. I don’t care who’s on the field; he will do that and immediately put LSU back to contender status.
