Initial Injury Report

On Wednesday night, LSU released the first official injury report of the 2025 season as is mandated by the SEC ahead of conference games. The Tigers take on Florida on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium to start conference play after wins over Clemson and Louisiana Tech.

Coming out of the game last week, LSU was banged up, with injuries to tight end Trey’Dez Green and center Braelin Moore all notably were sidelined during the game and we waited until official word on their status Wednesday night.

LSU has released the official injury report and updates on several key players. Here’s the rundown.

C Braelin Moore – Questionable

Moore’s situation has been much better than anticipated for LSU. He was unable to return to the game with a high ankle sprain, but on Monday, Kelly said Moore’s situation was better than it appeared and listed him as questionable.

“We did not get the sense he got a high ankle sprain or that he would need a tight rope procedure, and he was going to be out for four weeks,” Kelly said. “He’s going to be day-to-day and see how he feels. He felt better today, so we’re going to list him as questionable, and that could change to probable as we go through the week. We’ll see how that progresses.”

Now, it appears Moore could be able to give it a go against Florida this weekend if everything breaks right. DJ Chester is the backup center, and while he has experience, Moore was the SEC offensive lineman of the week in LSU’s week 1 win over Clemson and his presence is important for this unit.

TE Trey’Dez Green – Questionable

Green left the game on Saturday and returned on crutches with a brace on. He had a knee injury, but the MRI resutls came back positive that it was not a season-ending injury.

If Green is sidelined, Bauer Sharp has much more on his shoulders and should be an every down player for LSU in this game. The blocking and receiving ability gives the Tigers some versatility, but the receivers will have to step up in Green’s absence, particularly in the redzone.

WR Destyn Hill – Questionable

Hill was injured on the first drive of the season with a hand injury and is expected to miss a few more weeks, per Brian Kelly.

DT Zion Williams – OUT
