Starting LSU offensive lineman enters NCAA Transfer Portal
LSU has lost a key piece of its offensive line to the transfer portal as former five-star Carius Curne is set to leave LSU when the portal officially opens on Jan. 2, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Curne started five games this year for the Tigers and appeared in two more, logging 305 snaps on the season and showing the potential that made him a key piece in the 2025 recruiting class. Now, he’s set to move on after just one year on campus.

With the hiring of Lane Kiffin, offensive line coach Brad Davis was let go, along with the entire offensive staff, opening the door for Curne to leave and look for a new school. He’s a 6-foot-5 versatile player out of Arkansas who played tackle this season, but is likely a guard long term.

LSU will look to rebuild the offensive line over this offseason under new head coach Eric Wolford who has spent the past eight seasons in the SEC. Kiffin is nearly done building his staff, with still a few more pieces in the works on the offensive side of the ball, while the defensive staff is set.
