LSU head coach Brian Kelly met with the media after the 62-0 win Saturday night in Tiger Stadium over Army. Catch the full postgame press conference in the video at the top.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels finished the first half 11-of-15 for 279 yards passing and three touchdowns. The offense for the Tigers continues to be one of the best in the nation.

“The offensive efficiency is one where you look towards one guy and then somebody else steps up,” Kelly said. “Last week, Brian Thomas had two catches and had an explosive night tonight. We just have so many different options and so many different weapons. I don’t know if there are enough superlatives to talk about it, but it’s balanced, it’s physical, there are playmakers and it’s led by a quarterback that is as hot as anyone in the country.”

Linebacker Omar Speights led the team in tackles with nine, while Harold Perkins posted seven as well. Cornerback Andre Sam was all over the ball from the start, finishing with three tackles, two interceptions and a pass breakup. LSU held Army to just 193 yards of total offense and zero points through four quarters.

With the win, Kelly’s Tigers improve to 6-2 overall. The Black Knights fall to 2-5 on the season.

LSU returns to action on Nov. 4 for a showdown with No. 11 Alabama in Tuscaloosa after both teams have their traditional bye. TV and kickoff information will be announced on Monday by the league office.
