WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Today we’re breaking down the backbone of Miami’s 2025 offense – a line that returns five players with starting experience that should be one of the best lines in the conference and perhaps the nation. Find out why we are so high on that group … and why it’s so important they succeed.
We also continue our Message Board Mania series, this time with a different perspective on the hiring of DB coach Will Harris. Do don’t miss that either.
And don’t miss CaneSport taking a look at where all of the early enrollees from the 2025 class fit with spring practice set to begin March 3. Our first installments are on quarterback Luke Nickel and RB Girard Pringle, with an eye toward where they could fit in early and their accomplishments in high school.
In recruiting?
No. 1 overall prospect Jackson Cantwell has locked in a spring visit to Miami March 17 and 18, the Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle confirmed to CaneSport. Find out what he’s saying.
Also miss our update on where Miami stands with a leftover recruit in the 2025 class, J’Vari Flowers.

Another update: Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy safety Adryan Cole’s stock has skyrocketed since the start of the new year as interest from new programs has poured in. He feels Miami is one of his top programs early after the Hurricanes offered him in January. Find out where things stand there.
Plus we catch up with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas defensive back Jaden Carey, who has caught Miami’s eye … and that of several other top programs.
There also was your recap of Miami’s baskeball game at Florida State last night, a 74-66 loss, you can check out.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
On whether Elija Lofton have 600 receiving yards and 300 rush yards … Posted by Schnellys stache
His talent is clear and beck seems most comfortable when utilizing his TEs. I expect a big season as well but I don’t think he gets enough carries for 300yd
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Miami, they’ve been doing great things with the previous guys that have come out of St. Thomas with OJ (Frederique), Jordan Lyle, Chance (Robinson), Ryan Mack. They’ve been developing them and giving them opportunities on the field to make plays.”
