MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
RBs could be big key in Shannon Dawson offense … posted by eplanas
Hoping players like Lyle and Pringle used to add some outside zone scheme runs to our playbook. Fletcher and Brown can be the inside bruisers (Lyle and Pringle strong enough to run inside as well) but some outside runs to add variety and less predictability would be good. Also want to see the RBs used more in the passing game, Some quick passes to the RB’s should help open things up for the WRs on the outside if the safeties don’t know if they need to help on the quick passes or protect the deep ball.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Mauigoa is the first tackle that offensive line guru Mario Cristobal will send to the NFL from Miami. The 6’6”, 315-pound freak has been starting for Miami since his true freshman season and has been consistently dominant. Mauigoa allowed just two quarterback hits in 2024 on over 500 pass-blocking snaps, showing the world just how good of an anchor he is as a true sophomore. If he continues that kind of dominance in 2025, he’ll be the first tackle taken off the board in the 2026 draft.”
College Sports Network analyst Max Dorsey, projecting OL Francis Mauigoa going No. 5 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft
