WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

This morning you don’t want to miss Part II of our one-on-one interview with Miami Athletic Director Dan Radakovich. Don’t miss what he’s telling us about Miami’s plans amid a lot of revenue upheaval.

You can check out what Israel Briggs was saying as he became Miami’s newest commitment, and we also have an analysis of his play plus a recruiting podcast for you this morning to check out.

We also continue our State of The U series. We’ve tackled the recruiting classes, which included big transfer numbers, and more. Today we are tackling what Miami fans should expect – realistically – at LB. How is the personnel there stacking up? Don’t miss that.

And we continue our annual series breaking down the top 50 players on the current roster. As we go along on this list you’ll get an idea of the overall depth of talent on Mario Cristobal’s team this year as he seeks to build on a season that was oh-so-close to a playoff berth. You can read our inside look today of No. 6, Anez Cooper.

Also there’s more in recruiting as Miami made a ton of progress during June official visits. Which prompted us to enter three new predictions favoring the Hurricanes to land top targets. Find out about that.

Plus the Miami baseball team finished ranked in the top 20 and we have a look at where things go from here

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Running backs … Posted by Trust

If Lyle gets 12+ carries a game he will outperform Martinez. Fletcher is pretty even w Martinez. I would have felt much better if Ajay Allen stayed. But Martinez still did his thing …did enough to show good value. Overrated imo…but I’m not saying he wasn’t good. Just not “sensational” as some proclaim.

“Mario understands that the institution is behind him and his program. So, you know, he’s been great to work with. I really enjoy Mario and his vision. And we talk all the time about where we need to go next. What do we have to do to continue the upward trajectory of the program?”
