MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Notre Dame plan against us … Posted by o_CANE1983

Theyre going to load up the box and make us throw it. We’re going to have to make plays in the passing game. Both teams will have similar defensive strategies and it will come down to which QB can make the plays to open up the run. They think they finally have the QB that can sling the ball, we think we have a QB that can make plays in a new system. I expect both teams to take some shots early and see what they have.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

Miami OT Jackson Cantwell
Nathan Papes | Springfield News-Leader | USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

“(Francis Mauigoa), it sounds like he just took the opportunity to play and ran with it from what he was given there (when he arrived at Miami). I don’t want to speak for the coaches there, but it sounds like I’ll have the opportunity to compete for a spot, so it could look similar.”
