First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Gary Ferman’s latest column analyzes how the kicking situation could perhaps alter Mario Cristobal’s fourth down strategy.
Don’t miss our in-depth film study on a key area of the game vs. Notre Dame – just what Miami is dealing with in star Irish RB Jermiyah Love and the ways in which second-year coordinator Mike Denbrock uses him. If the Canes can’t slow him down it’s going to be a long night Aug. 31.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Every home field advantage possible ….. Posted by LetsGoCanes
Yes, the game is in the evening w/ it being a 7:30 kickoff, but both teams will be on the field in the late afternoon when it’s scorching heat. Our boys are much better conditioned for the humidity we’d have to assume combined with the fact that our sideline is shaded. That said to maximize this advantage we should be making sure that ND isn’t wearing white color uniforms & are in a color that attracts more heat. It will kill their big boys in the trenches. We’ve seen the sample size over many years in august/ september with both the Canes & dolphins. Everybody excited about the game!
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“1) must beat the Gators and Noles 2) 10 wins 3) CFP Appearance or ACCCG loss 4) No more than 1 loss in November. I need all 4 of those to happen for it to be successful. Only way I can budge on Gator loss would be if we go 12-1 winning the ACC.”
